A STORY

That was a very long night. Those papers with the letterhead of a hospital changed everything: her name was clearly mentioned in them. She was in the eye of the storm. After reading through the bunch of documents, she presented to me her hypotheses, she shouted, she cried and she went on and on talking about her discovery until she finally stopped, suddenly. A decision had been made. A few hours later, we left her apartment and set off for the coast. We had to track down the information contained in those papers she had found at home.  I understood that she had to do it, and I was eager to help. I could read determination in her eyes. Now she had a mission: find out everything she could about herself. No matter how painful, no matter how long.
